What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They can remember preferences or help measure how a website is used.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and interactions with our website and improve its content and performance. Google Analytics is our only analytics cookie service; we do not use advertising or remarketing cookies. Analytics information may include pages viewed, referral sources, interactions and browser or device information.

Analytics cookies and duration

_ga distinguishes visitors. _ga_XEF6KCG2KP (the _ga_<container-id> cookie for our Google Analytics property) maintains session state. Both are first-party cookies, with a Google default expiration of two years. Actual duration can be shorter because of browser limits or Analytics settings; expiry may be renewed on subsequent visits. See Google’s cookie documentation.

Your cookie choices

Analytics cookies are optional. Use the CookieYes banner on our homepage to accept or reject analytics cookies, or revisit your choices using its cookie preferences control. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Deleting cookies does not delete information already collected. Google provides an additional Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Consent preferences and other services

The homepage uses CookieYes to manage cookie choices; it may store a necessary preference cookie to remember your selection. This is separate from analytics. The contact form also uses Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection, which may involve cookies as described in our Privacy Policy.

Google’s processing and updates

Google processes analytics information under its service terms and may process it outside the European Economic Area. Read Google’s Privacy Policy and its data transfer information. For questions about cookies or your personal data, contact us by email. We may update this policy when our use of cookies changes; the revision date appears above.
