Who is responsible

Information we receive
When you contact us through the Greek or English contact form, we receive your name / organisation, email address, telephone number, selected project type, message and form language. Required fields are necessary to submit the form; without contact details we may be unable to respond. Please do not include sensitive personal information or unnecessary information about other people. You can also contact us directly by email.
Why we use it and our legal basis
We use your information to respond to enquiries, discuss your project and prepare a proposal. Where you request steps towards a contract with us, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, including contact on behalf of an organisation, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering business correspondence (Article 6(1)(f)). We also have a legitimate interest in protecting the form against spam and abuse. Where applicable, we process records to comply with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.
Email delivery and service providers
Submissions are sent by email to info@gorbatech.com. The contact endpoint does not save form submissions in a website database; copies may be held in email systems and backups. Authorised personnel and providers supporting our hosting, email delivery and security may process data as needed for those services. Data may also be disclosed where required by law.
Spam protection and Google reCAPTCHA
The form uses Google reCAPTCHA v3, loaded when you attempt to submit. Google may process technical and interaction information, including your IP address, browser/device information and cookies, to assess whether activity is automated. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Our server also keeps a hashed IP identifier and attempt count for a one-hour rate-limit window; expired entries are removed when subsequent requests process the rate-limit file. Hosting and email providers may keep operational and security logs. If you prefer not to use the form, email us directly.
International processing
Use of Google and other service providers may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. The applicable arrangements depend on the provider and service, including any European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about the recipients, transfer arrangements and any applicable safeguards for your data; Google also describes its arrangements in its data transfer information.
How long information is kept
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to handle the request and any resulting business relationship. The retention period depends on whether the enquiry leads to a contract, applicable record-keeping obligations and the need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Information no longer needed for those purposes should be deleted; email backups and provider logs may follow separate retention cycles. Your rights
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Send requests to info@gorbatech.com; we may need information to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; any permitted extension will be explained. You may lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority. We do not use enquiry data for decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing; reCAPTCHA may automatically reject suspected spam.
Scope and updates
This notice covers contact enquiries and their email handling. Other website features, such as externally hosted fonts, icons or embedded videos, may involve separate processing by their providers. We may update this notice when our contact handling changes; the revision date appears above.
